Max Awards 2008-2009

MAX AwardsMAX stands for Marketing & Advertising EXcellence. These awards are designed to recognize outstanding marketing and advertising personalities, professionals, and executives in the Middle Georgia area.

Each year members of the advertising creative community (i.e., the “creatives”) are recognized by the American Advertising Federation Central Georgia (AAF Central Georgia) at its annual ADDY® Awards show. Until recently there has been little done to recognize the achievements of the other local advertising & marketing professionals (i.e., “the suits”). To rectify this oversight the AAF Central Georgia is going to recognize Central Georgia’s outstanding marketing & advertising Xecutives and Xperts every year at the annual ADDY® Awards Show.

Any AAF Central Georgia member or individual employed by a local (Middle Georgia) marketing or advertising firm, supplier, or local media is eligible to nominate one or more persons for the “MAX” Awards. You may make nominations in one or all categories… whoever you feel is deserving.

This Call for Nominations is distributed to all the members of the AAF Central Georgia and people in the advertising industry. The nominations are reviewed by a committee consisting of the MAX Award Chairman and the AAF Central Georgia Board of Directors. Then, it will be posted up online for everyone to vote for. Votes will be tallied by the Board of Directors and the Board will determine all final winners.
