What is Linkedin, Why is it popular and why it’s important
Special Guest: Steven Piejak
Steven Piejak, Southeast Sales Manager for Linkedin, has been closely working with HR professionals, recruiters and staffing firms for more than 20 years during his career with companies such as The Wall Street Journal, Ernst & Young, and Linkedin. In his current role Steve helps Fortune 1000 companies leverage Linkedin using Corporate Solutions products; enterprise software, advertising, InMails and Company Pages to find and develop candidate relationships.
Prior to joining LinkedIn, Steve was an avid user and promoter of Linkedin. In fact, Steve used his networking connections and referrals to connect with his current manager and ultimately get his position with Linkedin. Steve is frequently a speaker at regional events and career groups helping individuals build great profiles and use their Linkedin network effectively.
